VCCI, industrial bodies pledge to hire Agniveers

Vadodara: Youngsters, who are set to undergo Agnipath training, will get jobs in the state. The Vadodara Chambers of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) along with the other industrial associations said that it will offer jobs to the Agniveers.“VCCI and other associations represent 12,000 industries in the state. We have decided to employ Agniveers and they will be given dignified jobs. Once they undergo training, these youngsters will have good skills and discipline,” said Himanshu Patel, VCCI vice-president. The VCCI has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi promising jobs to Agniveers and they handed it over to Gujarat BJP chief C R Paatil on Monday.
