Two kids drown in water tank at Sama

VADODARA: Two boys drowned in a water tank of a society in Sama area of the city. It is believed that the children fell inside the tank while playing. The incident came to light late on Sunday night after desperate attempts to locate the brothers did not yield any results. Ajay Yadav, 5, and his brother Abhishek, 3, were playing in the common plot of Surajnagar near the Narmada Canal in Sama when the incident took place.
Police said the children were playing outside their home when their father Raju Yadav, a mason, was away for work on Sunday evening. Their mother Meena was busy with chores at home even as the children were playing outside. When the children did not return till late, Meena started to look for them. She raised an alarm too and those in the neighborhood also started searching for them. The boys were then found dead inside an open water tank in the common plot of the society that was full with water. tnn
