Two held for ATM burglary bid

VADODARA: Two persons were arrested on Sunday for trying to break an ATM machine in Manjalpur and steal the cash box from it. The accused Nisar Khan and Jamshed Khan were nabbed when the bank’s assistant manager Manish Chaudhary went there to withdraw cash.

Police

investigations revealed that the duo had been coming daily to the

ATM of Corporation Bank

in Manjalpur since a month to steal cash.

“One of them would sit down and try to pull out the cash box and the other one would pretend to withdraw cash after switching off the power of the machine,” said a police official.
