Trio booked for assaulting cops

Vadodara: Three men were booked by the Panigate police for allegedly attacking a cop and home guard on the National Highway 48 early on Thursday morning. The police said that the accused trio first got into arguments with head constable

when he asked them to leave the spot.The police said that the trio identified as Kiran More, Arun Kadam and Anil Mali were hanging out on the highway at about 3 am.

Dinubhai

asked them to leave the spot as it was very late following which they left. But the trio returned in sometime with sticks and began assaulting Dinubhai as well as home guard
