We all have to ensure that she remains safe from the virus that is again raising its ugly head across the country. I have to travel outside for my work but am taking all precautions,” said her husbandSuresh Yadav
, who runs a taxi service in the city.“She fought off Covid valiantly and even took many months to walk properly. But with Covid cases shooting up, she is worried as we are parents of twins. So, she prefers to spend time in isolation now. While we are confident this time, it is tough for both of us to go through the same harrowing experience once again,” Suresh told TOI.On April 27 last year, 38-year-old Seema had tested positive for Covid and was admitted to two different hospitals for the next 12 days before being taken to Bhailal Amin General Hospital (BAGH) on May 9. Her CT scan showed that she had 96 per cent lung infection and her condition was very critical. Her lungs were bleeding too.In the two months that she spent in hospital, her condition deteriorated thrice and doctors felt that she wouldn't survive. But Seema fought back and began responding well to treatment in June last year. , an ex-HR professional.“She is a fighter. Seema didn’t just recover from severe Covid infection but also became an inspiration for many. We have developed a special bond now,” Rathore said.
