VADODARA: A visit by former BJP state general secretary Sanjay Joshi sent political circles here into a tizzy. The leader was in the state to pay condolences to national BJP Yuva Morcha president Amit Thacker's father, Dhirajlal Thacker and visited the Ranchhod temple at Dakor before arriving at Vadodara in the evening.
Joshi's visits have always been followed closely by political circles, owing to his proximity to Keshubhai Patel camp.

Sources said Joshi first went to Dakor and visited the temple and then left for Vallabh Vidyanagar in Anand district for the condolence meeting.
After the meeting, Joshi arrived at Vadodara where he met some party workers and went to a hospital to inquire about the health of a relative of a senior BJP leader. All the while, some close aides who worked with him in the party were accompanied him.
According to party insiders, the visit was personal and since Joshi was to visit the state, he also fulfilled some social commitments. "Too much is being read into his visits. He keeps visiting party workers during celebrations or unfortunate incidents in their families," said sources. They informed Joshi was scheduled to leave the city for Delhi late in the night by train.
