Police arrested a 32-year-old man from Mumbai for his alleged involvement in the loot of a revolver and Rs 60,000 in cash from a bungalow in Amroli recently.

Police arrested a 32-year-old man from Mumbai for his alleged involvement in the loot of a revolver and Rs 60,000 in cash from a bungalow in Amroli recently. Mohammad Jamil Akhtarali, a resident of Sahabganj in Jharkhand, was nabbed by Mumbai police who informed Surat police about his involvement in the loot. A gang of five robbers had carried out the loot at Chandu Italiya's bungalow.

Cash, laptops stolen
Cash and laptops worth Rs 2.75 lakh were stolen by unidentified persons from three cars parked on Gaurav Path on Saturday. Kalpesh Tank, Mihir Soni and Aquib Baloch parked their cars near Rahul Raj Mall and V R Mall and went for shopping when the burglars stole five laptops and Rs 2 lakh from their vehicles after breaking the windowpanes.
