‘Need to add spirituality to school curriculum’
VADODARA: There is a need to add spirituality and critical thinking as a subject in the school curriculum. This is what Sri M, an educationist, spiritual guide and social reformer, opined on Saturday.
The social reformer was in the city to launch the book penned by him ‘The journey continues (Gujarati), a sequel to apprenticed to a Himalayan master’.
The book that talks about topics on rebirth of a soul till it achieves moksha is continuation of his journey of spiritual world. The book that was launched in Gujarati will also be translated in Hindi, Marathi,
The book offers the essence of modern science which is struggling to pinpoint the abode of consciousness and the mystic world of mind. It also focuses on the ‘brain-mind complex’ that can reform the bridge of neuroscience, quantum physics and spirituality.
Later in the day, he also delivered lecture at the Navrachana University, Vadodara (NUV) as part of NUV Samvaad lecture series.
M S University chancellor and member of the royal family of erstwhile Baroda state Shubhanginiraje Gaekwad launched the book.
