National conference for CA students kicks off in city
Vadodara: Around 900 chartered accountant (CA) students from across the country are attending a two-day national conference for CA students organized by the Vadodara branch of Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association (WICASA) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
The conference themed ‘A new era of CAs’ kicked off at Sir Sayajirao Nagar Gruh on Friday.

It aims to provide insights and knowledge-sharing opportunities to CA students.
The conference was inaugurated by Union minister of state for communications Devusinh Chauhan. National office-bearers of ICAI were present.
During the day, conference director and central council member and chairman of board of studies (academic) of ICAI, Vishal Doshi, addressed a session. He explained the implementation of the new CA course curriculum which the institute has adopted from this academic year.
On the first day, a special session was conducted by Mangesh Kinare, chairman of board of studies (operations) of ICAI while there was a technical session by Jinand Shah on ‘e-rupee: the rise of digital currency’, ‘UPI- India’s masterstroke’, and ‘What’s next for FinTech?’. Motivational speaker Sanjay Chakraborty also delivered a talk on mastering positive mindset.
