MS University celebrates National Girl Child Day
Vadodara: The Department of Sociology of M S University's Faculty of Arts on Friday celebrated National Girl Child Day with a wall painting activity, emphasising the importance of education, empowerment, and equality for the girl child.
The centrepiece of the celebration was the wall painting activity, where the undergraduate , postgraduate students and teachers collaborated to create artwork embodying the theme - "encourage, empower, and elevate".
The murals reflected the collective vision of a future where girls are celebrated for their strength, intelligence, and resilience.
The faculty members shared their insights on the significance of the day, highlighting the progress made in advancing gender equality and the work still needed to break societal stereotypes and ensure every girl has the opportunity to thrive.
The event concluded with an enthusiastic discussion among participants, emphasising the need for continued awareness and collective efforts to support the cause of the girl child.
