Man kills cousin brother after fight over parking
A resident of Madan Zampa Road in Navapura was thrashed to death allegedly by his cousin following arguments over parking of motorcycle outside their house late night on Monday.
VADODARA: A resident of Madan Zampa Road in Navapura was thrashed to death allegedly by his cousin following arguments over parking of motorcycle outside their house late night on Monday.The accused Chirag Parmar was arrested on Tuesday afternoon.The incident took place after the deceased Arjun Parmar returned home from work on Monday night. According to police, when Arjun parked his bike, his cousin Chirag asked him not to park the vehicle there. When Arjun did not budge, the accused started hurling abuses at him.Police said that initially Arjun asked his cousin not to abuse him. But later, the duo got into a verbal fight hearing which their other cousin Bhumika rushed there and tried to settle the dispute. However, enraged Chirag picked up an iron pipe lying there and hit Arjun on his head.Bhumika told the police that Arjun immediately collapsed and started bleeding profusely. Chirag left the pipe and fled from there. Arjun was rushed to SSG Hospital, where he succumbed during treatment.A police official said that the two cousins had got into arguments a day earlier too over the same issue. The issue was settled then, but on Monday night it took an ugly turn.
Arjun, who was working in a private company, was living alone after his parents passed away some years back.It was only last week when an auto-rickshaw driver was stabbed to death in Tandalja by a family over parking issue. The deceased Ilyas Memon and the Sheikh family owning butchery had been in dispute over parking issue. The five accused got into a brawl with Memon before stabbing him.
