Man killed by lightening

VADODARA: One person was killed when

lightening

struck in the Veganpur village of Godhra taluka in Panchmahal district on Wednesday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Arjun Chauhan, who had come out of his house to graze cattle in pastures near Veganpur.

Chauhan was struck by lightening and he collapsed on the spot. Villagers rushed to the spot on hearing about the incident and found Chauhan dead.. They informed government officials. Chauhan’s body was taken to the Kakanpur government hospital for autopsy.
