team has ended in just three months. He will now be spending more time in India. The abrupt end to More’s stint with the US cricket has surprised many in cricketing circles.

More, however, denied any differences with the US cricket officials and insisted that the contract was only for three months.

“It was clear from the beginning that the contract was of three months. It wasn’t possible for me to spend more time in developing US cricket as I have commitments in the Indian Premier League (IPL) here,” he told TOI.

His job was to identify talented players, organize matches and camps, select coaches, set up tournaments, ensure fitness of the players and developing the sport across the US that was preparing to qualify for the T20 cricket world cup next year. But the US cricket team lost matches in September and failed to make to make it to the T20 world cup qualifier in the UAE.

“I have some other plans in the US which I cant reveal now,” he added.
