Jyoti Limited bags SSNNL order

VADODARA: City-based Jyoti Limited in joint venture with Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL), a Hyderabad-based civil infrastructure company, has won a major order from Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited (SSNNL).
The order worth Rs 422.98 crore is for complete engineering, procurement and construction of civil, electro-mechanical and hydro-mechanical works, including five year operation and maintenance of Saurashtra branch canal project in Mehsana district.tnn
"Jyoti Limited's portion in this order will be around Rs 100 crore for supply of electro-mechanical equipment," Rahul Amin, chairman and managing director of Jyoti Limited, which had clocked turnover of Rs 241 crore in financial year 2013-14, told TOI on Friday.
"This is the largest hydel order received by us till date. This order confirms our capacity to provide complete turnkey solutions for various small hydro turbines," he said.
At present, Jyoti Limited has pending orders worth Rs 900 crore. Since April, it has received major orders totalling around Rs 441.06 crore from NCC Limited, M/s. G Shankar, NTPC, RRVUNL and GETCO among others.
