Inter faculty sports tourney to kick off at MSU
Vadodara: More than 2,000 students have registered for Swami Vivekananda Inter Faculty Sports Tournament that will begin at M S University campus on Monday.
The sports tournament, which will witness participation of students from various faculties, will continue until January 12.
“The sports week will have a variety of events, including outdoor, indoor and athletic activities,” said Saloni Mishra, vice-president of MSU Students Union (MSUSU).
The outdoor games will include kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, kho-kho for boys and girls while the indoor games will include badminton, table tennis, chess, carom and swimming competitions.
There will be 100m (girls), 200m (boys), 100 X 4 relay (girls) and 400m (boys) contests as part of the athletic activities. The entry has been kept free for all the participants for the tournament that will be held at MSUSU union pavilion ground.tnn
