Hundreds participate in Khele Gujarat

Vadodara: Hundreds of players from across the state participated in the Khele Gujarat State summer camp organized by the Sports of Authority of Gujarat (SAG) in the city recently. These players will participate in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) that will be held in Delhi, Gwalior and Bhopal from June 6 to 13.
Around 264 players attended the camp to improve their skills, develop competitive spirit and also gain experience of playing with other sportspersons coming from different backgrounds.
Dravya Chokshi, a badminton player who participated in the camp, said, “I have played under-14 competitions but an injury forced me to take a break from the game. Now, after working on my agility and game, I am happy to be participating in the camp and looking forward to playing in the SGFI games.”
“I saw improvement in my skills and style after attending the camp. Now, I am excited to play the SGFI game in Delhi,” said swimmer, Vivek Gohel.
