Vadodara: GSFC University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Humber Polytechnic to strengthen student mobility, joint research, and collaborative learning initiatives as part of its efforts to expand its global academic footprint.
The agreement was formalised during a recent academic visit to Canada and the US by a GSFC University delegation led by president P K Taneja, IAS (retd).
Under the partnership, the two institutions will collaborate on student exchange programmes, collaborative online learning, faculty development and joint research initiatives, officials said.
The MoU was signed by Taneja and Gina Antonacci, vice-president of Humber Polytechnic, at the Humber campus in Toronto, in the presence of senior representatives from both institutions.
Authorities said the collaboration forms part of GSFC University's broader strategy to strengthen international partnerships and enhance academic and research opportunities for students and faculty.
The tie-up is expected to provide greater global exposure, skill development and cross-border knowledge exchange in line with evolving academic and industry needs.
