Four accused of snatching chains arrested

VADODARA: Sleuths of the detection of crime branch (DCB) arrested four men involved in seven offences of chain snatching in the city. Cops have recovered five gold chains worth Rs 3 lakh from the accused.
The police said that they worked on a tip-off about the accused and managed to nab them. The accused have been identified as Siddharth Gupta and Lalkumar Gupta, residents of Uttar Pradesh, Saqlin Panagar and Sagar Parmar, both residents of Vadodara.
The accused targeted women driving two-wheelers in isolated spots and committed offences in Tarsali, Old Padra Road, Makarand Desai Road and R V Desai Road.
