VADODARA: Former Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) vice- president Jitendra Patel passed away in the city on Sunday after a prolonged illness. Patel (78) was not keeping well for several months. He had also held the BCA president’s post for a brief tenure. Patel was very active in social life and was associated with several organizations. “He had been active in the BCA for a long time and his contribution was very valuable,” said Sheetal Mehta, BCA vice president.
