Vadodara: He is enemy of the state and not motherland, said Swami Agnivesh at a religious conference organized by Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind, a religious body of Muslim scholars. The conference held at Godhra in Panchmahal was attended by spiritual leaders from different religions.
"The government is soft on people like Vijay Mallya who has duped the country off Rs 9,000 crores. Instead of addressing such serious issue, the government is forcing people to chant 'Bharat Mata Ki Jay'," said Arya Samaj Scholar Agnivesh addressing thousands who participated in the event.
Agnivesh also criticized RSS workers during his speech. He said that there was not a single RSS worker involved in the freedom struggle of the country and that they are noted for sycophancy.
Maulana Arshad Madani, the president of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind also spoke on mutual harmony among religions. TNN
