Crime branch nabs wanted bootlegger

Vadodara: The crime branch has nabbed a man who was wanted under the Prohibition Act for the last seven months. Cops had seized a vehicle full of liquor from Nizampura area in July last year. A complaint was registered at Fatehgunj police station. Investigations revealed that the stock belonged to arrested historysheeter Rubin Sheikh who is also wanted is murder, rioting and assault cases.

Vadodara: A case of fatal road accident was registered by the J P Road police in connection with the death of Sanjay Nayak who was driving his motorcycle on Vasna-Bhayli Road on Tuesday night when the vehicle slipped. Deceased fell on the road and suffered severe injuries on his head causing his death on the spot.

Vadodara: A bootlegger has been booked and detained under Prevention of Anti-Social Act (PASA) and sent to Bhavnagar jail. Praveen Patanvadiya, a resident of Waghodia, has been booked several times under the Prohibition Act by Chhota Udepur, Varnama and Waghodia police in the past.
