VADODARA: A day after Baroda Cricket Association (BCA) member Uday Patel registered a court complaint against association office-bearers, BCA's top committee has decided to meet.
BCA management has called an emergency managing committee meeting on Saturday to discuss further course of action.
The managing committee may appoint lawyers to defend former BCA secretary Rakesh Parikh and ex-treasurer Vijaysinh Indulkar.

Uday Patel has accused Parikh and Indulkar of paying Rs 4.11 crore to a land agent towards a land deal without BCA managing committee's permission.
Patel has also made allegations about anomalies in the memorandum of understanding signed for the land deal.
BCA secretary Anshuman Gaekwad said the meeting has been summoned to discuss further course of action. Both Parikh and Indulkar have said the land deal and payment were done with the permission of the managing committee.
