Couple commits suicide in hotel room

VADODARA: A couple committed suicide in a private hotel near Kapurai Crossroads on Monday night by hanging themselves in the room. The couple identified as Kamlesh Parmar, 28 and Manisha Parmar, 24 had checked in the Krishna Hotel on Monday morning. The police said that the duo were cousins and had fled from their homes a day before.
According to the cops, Manisha was daughter of Kamlesh’s uncle and they were in relationship for some years.However, families of the duo were against the relationship. While Kamlesh was married to another girl and Manisha too was married off to a boy. The duo, however, got separated from their partners later.
The hotel staff learnt of the suicide when someone from the room-keeping department tried to enter the room. When no one answered, they called in the police that broke into the room. A suicide note left by Manisha said that she loves her parents a lot but she won’t be able to live without Kamlesh, and hence they are taking the extreme step. The cops learnt about identity of the couple from driving license of Kamlesh.
