Congress seeks land deduction at Sarabhai Compound

VADODARA: After questions being raised regarding the deduction of 40 per cent land in connection with the prominent realty site Akshar Pavilion in the Gotri area of the city, demand to do the same in the

Sarabhai Compound

is being made.


Congress member Rutvij Joshi and Kalpesh Patel submitted a memorandum to the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) commissioner stating that as per norms the deduction of land should have been made when the building permission was given for the Sarabhai Compound.

They pointed out that the issue had been raised repeatedly with the civic body, but to no avail.

The issue has also been raised in the

general

board of the VMC in the past. If the civic body deducts land as per provisions, it stands to get a plot of high value in the compound.
