City-based dancer felicitated
City-based Odissi and Bharatanatyam dancer was invited to perform at the prestigious national dance festival 'Bharatotsava'. Manasi Pandya was also given Bharatshree award during the festival organised by Nupur Nritya Vihar, a Karnataka-based performing art school.
The awards were instituted last year to encourage talented artistes. Manasi was given the award at the dance festival Bharatotsava 2010 - dance fest for devoted young professional artistes from India on October 10 at Hubli.
