VADODARA: While her classmates were busy preparing for the board battle with coaching institutes, Durva Desai focused on her self-study alone. On Friday, the daughter of city-based critical care specialist Dr Gunjan Desai, Durva’s zealous efforts rewarded her with flying colours. She scored 97.8% in Class X exams of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
While Durva topped in her school — D R Amin Memorial School — Unnati Firke topped the school in Class XII (commerce) with 94.8%, and Rathang Joshi topped the school in science with 92.4%.
Similarly, Aastha Chauhan from Cygnus World School topped in Class XII (science) with 94.6% while Diya Patel topped in commerce with 94%. Two students from the school, Harsh Shah and Saisha Khera topped in humanities scoring 96.4% each, while Suhani Patel topped Class X with 96.6%.
At Urmi School, Aayush Sheth topped science with 95.2%, Nainesh Jain topped commerce with 95%, while Vani Patel topped Class X with 94%.
At IIRA International School, Samruddhi Kalekar topped in Class X with 94.2%.
At Green Valley High School, Dhruvi Parikh topped Class X with 97%, while Ishita Singh topped science with 95.8%.
At Prince Ashokraje Gaekwad School, Mahi Patel topped in science stream with 91.2%, while Devanshi Thakar topped in commerce with 92.4%. In Class X, Kavya Vakhariya topped with 96.8%.
