VADODARA: Chain snatchers targeted yet another woman in the city on Monday afternoon. Two persons, who were riding on a motorbike, snatched the gold chain of Sadha Rathod in Gotri area. The incident occurred when Rathod was walking back home with her daughter from her school.
The bikers came from behind and snatched Rathod’s gold chain before fleeing. Some passersby witnessed the incident and a CCTV installed nearby captured the incident. Police said that they were trying to track down the accused.
Ten days ago, the crime branch had nabbed two chain snatchers from the city. The duo had targeted two women on the same day over a fortnight ago. The accused had fled in a car after committing the crime. They were identified as Rutul Panchal, a resident of Maneja, and Durgesh Yadav, a resident of Pashabhai Park
