Car dealer cheated by woman

VADODARA: A dealer of used cars was allegedly cheated by a resident of

Waghodia Road

of Rs 4.5 lakh. The accused bought the complainant’s car in April but cheques given by her were returned by the bank.

, a resident of Waghodia Road, on April 28 for Rs 4.5 lakh.

Police

said that

gave two post-dated cheques of Rs 2.25 lakh to Desai, who gave her original papers of the car.

Later, when Desai deposited the cheques, it bounced. Desai tried to contact Soni but she was not available at her address and her phone was switched off.
