, has told the interrogators that he had attacked the latter over a past rift.
Also, he had conspired the attack to create disturbance in Dave’s wedding that took place on Saturday. However, police are probing deeper to ascertain Mishra’s claims and find out if there was any other reason behind the attack.
A police official said that they are also waiting for the forensic laboratory report to ascertain whether the gun found from Mishra was the one used in the attack. Mishra had said that he had used a blank gun that produced loud sound to attack Dave.
The cops said that during investigations at crime scene, neither they nor the FSL team found the fired shells or the bullets. However, Panigate police inspector J G Amin said that there are eye witnesses who saw Mishra fire at Dave.
On Sunday, the local court remanded Mishra and his aides Ronak Chauhan and Avirath Patel to police custody for a day for further investigations.
