VADODARA: Baroda Ranji team's star players Irfan and Yusuf Pathan may have expressed desire to quit Baroda Cricket Association (BCA), but the association is keen to see that they don't walk away from their home ground. The management is in talks with the Pathan brothers over the issue and it's confident that all the differences will be sorted out.
"I am in touch with the Pathan brothers and we have talked about the ongoing issues between BCA and them.

BCA management will meet them after Indian Premier League (IPL) gets over," BCA vice-president Samarjitsinh Gaekwad said.
"There are differences over several issues between BCA and the Pathans, but everything will be sorted out. We will make sure that they play for Baroda. At least, I am confident that they will continue playing from here," Gaekwad added.
The Pathans have been at loggerheads with BCA over last few months with both sides accusing each other of having wrong attitude. While the Pathan brothers said they were not being treated respectfully by the association, BCA officials said they were not happy with the brothers' attitude. Following the widening rift, both Irfan and Yusuf had approached Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) a month ago and expressed their desire to play from its team.
Both Irfan and Yusuf are key players of Baroda team as they have been contributing heavily in the team's wins. Also, they are the only players with immense experience in the Ranji squad apart from Connor Williams and Satyajit Parab.
