Aurangabad Municipal Corporation team visits Vadodara

A delegation from the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) visited the city. The delegation was in the city to get an insight into the steps being taken by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) towards the smart city mission.

VADODARA: A delegation from the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) visited the city. The delegation was in the city to get an insight into the steps being taken by the Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) towards the smart city mission.
Aurangabad deputy mayor Pramod Rathod, AMC standing committee chairman Dilip Thorat, BJP party leader in AMC Bapu Ghadmode and other functionaries from the AMC including its additional commissioner, deputy municipal commissioner and city engineer visited the city to understand the VMC’s approach towards becoming a smart city.

The team saw presentations on the door-to-door garbage system and also visited garbage processing facilities, landfill sites, Ajwa reservoir as well as Ajwa Gardens during the visit. The team held discussions with a VMC delegation comprising of deputy mayor Sunita Shukla, standing committee chairman Dr Hitendra Patel, commissioner H S Patel, opposition leader Chandrakant Shrivastava, city engineer P M Patel and other officials.
