The lecture was delivered by
Dr Kamachi Mudali
, chairman and CEO of
Heavy Water Board
, Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.
Additionally, realizing disproportionate contribution of industry towards career progression of students and to bridge the gap between academia and industry, a panel discussion titled – ‘role of industry in shaping professional higher education in India’ – was also organized.
"The university believes that an enriched multidimensional connect at different levels of career progression of students shall be a win-win situation for all,” a release issued by the private university said.
"The panel visited various pressing issues and challenges faced by students in their career progression and tried to find out their resolve in the backdrop of multidimensional contribution by late Dr Vikram Sarabhai in the sphere of education,” the release further mentioned, adding that more than 300 delegates from the industry participated in the programme.
