A large crowd of protesters along with family members began the rally at Udaipur's Mukherjee Chowk and demanded permission to meet the boy being treated at MB Hospital.

District collector Arvind Poswal denied the allegation and said, "The child's family members are being allowed to meet him periodically. I have spoken to the people of his community. I have assured everyone that we are providing the best treatment." He also addressed the crowd over a microphone to assure support of the govt and administration.

Udaipur SP Yogesh Goyal too refuted the charges and said there was misunderstanding over the issue. He said the boy's condition was stable but critical.

Speaking to the media, MB Hospital superintendent said, "When the child arrived, he had no heartbeat. He was revived by administering CPR."

On Friday, a Class 10 student allegedly stabbed a classmate at a govt school, sparking communal violence in the city.

Following this, the district administration imposed prohibitory orders and banned the assembly of people in the city.
