Three men loot jewellery worth ₹1cr at gunpoint in Rajsamand

Udaipur: In a daylight heist, three men posing as customer looted jewellery worth Rs 1 crore from a jeweller in Rajsamand on Wednesday.
According to police, one person posing as customer stepped inside the jewellery shop situated on Jalchakki road and told the owner to show some jewellery. Aryan Soni, the owner’s son who had just opened the shop, had stacked all the jewellery in the safe. As soon as Aryan opened the safe and started showing the jewellery, the young man gestured to his two companions standing outside and called them inside, police said.
Before Aryan could understand anything, the miscreants pointed gun at him and his employee Madan and made them sit in a corner. They filled the gold and silver jewellery in a bag and fled on motorbike.
Rajsamand SP Sudhir Joshi and ASP Shiv Lal Bairwa reached the spot. In the CCTV footage, the miscreants could be seen going away on a bike wearing helmets and carrying the bag. TNN
