JAIPUR: A minor boy and girl, said to be in a relationship, were discovered hanging from a tree in the Udaipur district of Rajasthan, police said on Monday.
The bodies of the pair, aged around 16-17 years, were discovered hanging from a tree in Banjariya village within the Kherwara police station area on Sunday evening, said SHO Dilip Singh.
Initial investigation indicated that the pair were in a relationship, stated the SHO, and the police suspect their deaths to be a case of suicide.
After undergoing post-mortem on Monday, the bodies were handed over to their relatives.
A case has been filed in the matter, and an investigation is currently in progress.
