UDAIPUR: Police on Monday bulldozed the house of history-sheeter Rania and his son Khatru who had attacked and injured seven cops of Mandwa police station here on April 28.

According to police, the property of the accused is said to have been illegally built on government land.

A large number of armed police personnel were deployed during the demolition. SP Vikas Sharma said the house was demolished with the help of officials from the revenue department and administration. He said police teams weer raiding and carrying out search operations in the forests at Gujarat border and adjoining districts to nab Rania and his associates.

Police have so far arrested four associates of the Rania gang.

On April 28, seven cops including the SHO of Madwa police station in Jhadol area of Udaipur district were injured when Rania and his son attacked them and also snatched a cop's pistol.
