Bihar woman shot dead in Udaipur city

UDAIPUR: In a daylight murder, a young woman was shot dead in Sundarwas area of Udaipur city under Pratapnagar police station.
The incident took place at Shiv Jyoti residential complex in Sundarwas area, where the unknown assailant alllegedly fired three rounds at the woman, Neha Singh (27), killing her on the spot. She received a bullet on the head, and her body was found in the balcony of her house on the third floor.A resident of Bihar, Neetu was staying in Udaipur with her husband and daughter.
ASP (City) Ashok Kumar Meena said police received information on Wednesday that Neha Singh, wife of Chandan Singh, was shot dead by an unidentified assailant when she was alone at home. "On investigation, it was found that two men had come on a two-wheeler and inquired about the victim'sresidence. While one man kept waiting, the other came up, shot her dead and fled," said Meena.
