60-year-old accused of raping minor girl

Udaipur: Police here on Thursday detained an elderly man after a complaint was lodged by his woman tenant that he had raped her 17-year-old niece, who was staying with her since she lost her mother. Udaipur SP Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav said the aunt lodged a report alleging that her landlord, Bherulal Arora, 60, forcibly entered her home when her niece was alone and raped her.The aunt said that she had gone out to buy medicines and when she returned, her niece complained of pain in her stomach. She took her to the government-run Maharana Bhupal hospital, where the girl informed the lady doctor about her rape. The doctor informed the Savina police station.
