11-year-old girl gang-raped by her two minor nephews in Udaipur

UDAIPUR: An 11-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by two minor grandsons of her aunt (father's sister) in Udaipur on Monday. After the gang-rape, the condition of the girl deteriorated and she could be saved only after a surgery.

The complaint about the crime was filed by the elder sister of the survivor in Ambamata police station here on Wednesday.Investigating officer DySP Chetna Bhati said that the girl had lost her father a few years ago and her mother had come to Udaipur to undergo a surgery.
While the mother was admitted in hospital, the girl was left at her aunt's place. When the girl was alone at home, the two accused, aged 13 and 15, allegedly raped her. Bhati added that at the time of the crime, the elder sister had gone to the hospital to see her mother and the girl was watching TV at her aunt's house.
After some time, when the elder sister came home, she was shocked to see her sister soaked in blood. She took her to Maharana Bhupal Hospital.

After examination she was taken to the operation theatre. After taking her into confidence, the doctor questioned her and she narrated her ordeal to them. After the surgery, the doctors informed her elder sister, who, in turn, went to the police station and registered a case against both the accused.
