Youth dies as bus hits two-wheeler in Tamil Nadu

TRICHY: A 19-year-old youth died after a bus hit his two-wheeler near Melathur in Pudukkottai district of Tamil Nadu on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as K Tamilvanan of Sankarapuram in Villupuram district. He was undergoing training in Pudukkottai district in operating earthmovers.
The accident happened around 7.30am when Tamilvanan was trying to overtake a truck.A private bus which came from the opposite side hit the motorcycle. Tamilvanan was thrown off the two-wheeler. He died on the spot.
The Vadakadu police registered a case.
The body was sent to Government Pudukkottai Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
