Water supply to be disrupted in these areas of Trichy on Wednesday

TRICHY: As Tangedco has planned to carry out monthly maintenance work at the Srirangam substation, the Kollidam drinking water collector well of Trichy Corporation supplying drinking water to all the five zones will not supply water on Wednesday (July 24).

Overhead tanks in most parts of the city including Sundarraj Nagar, Khajamalai, Ariyamangalam, Malayappa Nagar, Rail Nagar, Ex-Servicemen Colony, MK Kottai section office, MK Kottai Nagammai Street, MK Kottai Library, Ponneripuram, Ponmalaipatti, Aishwarya Nagar, JK Nagar, Sempattu, Kamraj Nagar, LIC Colony, Subramania Nagar, Thendral Nagar, EB Colony, VN Nagar, KK Nagar, Subramania Nagar, K Sathanur, Panjapur, Amman Nagar, E Pudur, Crawford, Anbu Nagar, Kavi Bharathi Nagar and Renga Nagar will not receive drinking water on Wednesday.

Water supply to the aforesaid localities would resume on Thursday (July 25), the Trichy Corporation said in a statement.
