Student dies of electric shock from water heater

Trichy: A college student died after suffering an electric shock while utilising a water heater at his residence in T Renganathapuram, near Thuraiyur in Trichy, on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as B Pradeep, 20. He was pursuing hotel management.
Police said on Tuesday, that Pradeep was heating water using an electric heater. While ascertaining if the water had reached the desired temperature, he inadvertently experienced an electric shock, which threw him away from the appliance.His family members took him to a private hospital in Thuraiyur, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
His mortal remains were transferred to the govt hospital in Thuraiyur.
