These areas of Trichy, suburbs to face power cut on Tuesday

TRICHY: Power supply will be suspended in various parts of Trichy city and suburbs on Tuesday (July 23) due to emergency maintenance work at Tangedco’s Srirangam and Vazhavanthankottai substations.

Officials said areas including Srirangam, Melur, Vasanthanagar, Moolathoppu, Uthira streets, Chithirai streets, Adayavalanjan streets, Railway Station Road, Periyar Nagar, Mangamma Nagar, Amma Mandapam, Veereswaram, Mambalasaalai, Jai Nagar, Thiruvenkada Nagar, Ganesapuram, Ganapathi Nagar, Koothaippar, Krishnasamudram, Bhel Township, Vazhavanthankottai, Vazhavanthankottai Sidco Industrial Estate, VOC Nagar, Burma Nagar and Ezhil Nagar would face power shutdown between 9.45am and 4pm on Tuesday.
