Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin unveils key projects in Ariyalur, launches city's first industrial park

TRICHY: Tamil Nadu chief minister M K Stalin is participating in a govt function in Ariyalur district today. He will lay the foundation stone for a new Sipcot industrial park, Ariyalur's first, located near Jayankondam town. The industrial park, to be developed at Rs 1,000 crore, will focus on non-leather footwear production.

The CM will also launch the second phase of 'Uttasathai Uruthi Sei', a nutrition intervention programme for children and their mothers at the Varanavasi anganwadi centre. He will chair a govt event in Ariyalur for distributing welfare schemes to 21,862 beneficiaries of Ariyalur and Perambalur districts. He shared the dais with VCK chief and Chidambaram MP Thol Thirumavalavan.

Chief minister M K Stalin, at a govt event in Ariyalur on Friday to distribute welfare aid for beneficiaries in Ariyalur and Perambalur districts, said that there were few chief ministers in the past who were unaware of events happening in the state. "But I face the problems. Not only do I draft projects, but I also conduct field inspections to ensure that the projects are commissioned on time. I will always keep up the trust Tamil Nadu people have in me and DMK."
