Spl train from Trichy to Thiruthuraipoondi

Trichy: Southern Railway will operate weekly unreserved express special trains between Thiruthuraipoondi and Trichy via Thanjavur to clear the extra rush during summer.Train No. 06717 will leave Thiruthuraipoondi at 5.45pm every Friday and reach Trichy at 9.10pm. The train will start running from April 21. Train No. 06718 will leave Trichy at 7.30pm every Sunday and reach Thiruthuraipoondi at 10.40pm. The train will start running from April 23.The trains will stop at Thirunellikaval, Tiruvarur, Koradacheri, Nidamangalam, Thanjavur, Budalur, and Thiruverumbur in both directions. Meanwhile, Southern Railway will operate the 11th trip of a special train from Madurai to Veraval in Gujarat via Trichy to cater to the demand of Saurashtra Tamil Sangamam, on April 24. Train No. 06301 special fare train will leave Madurai at 5.40pm on April 24 and reach Veraval at 9am on the fourth day. The train will stop at Dindigul, Trichy, Villupuram, Tambaram, Chennai, Renigunta, Kacheguda, Nanded, Pooma, Akola, Jalgaon, Nandurbar, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, and Rajkot.
