Skywatch at Anna Science Centre on March 3
Trichy: The Anna Science Centre – Planetarium will host a sky observation programme on March 3 to mark the partial lunar eclipse visible in parts of India.The eclipse will occur between 4.30 pm and 7.30 pm. Telescopes will be set up at the planetarium premises, allowing students and the public to view the phenomenon. The observation session is scheduled from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Experts will explain the science behind lunar eclipses during the event, according to a release. The eclipse is expected to be more clearly visible in northeastern regions, subject to weather conditions.
