Power shutdown in parts of Trichy today

Trichy: Tangedco has announced scheduled power shutdowns in parts of the city on Wednesday due to maintenance and emergency works at substations.The maintenace work will be undertaken at the Kambarasampettai substation from 10 am to 12 noon. Areas to face power disruption include Chathiram Bus Stand, Balaji Avenue, V N Nagar, Balakrishna Nagar, Vanapattarai, Periyar Nagar, Jayaram Nagar, Housing Unit, Salai Road, Cholarajapuram, Mudaliar Street, Kamakshi Amman Koil Street, Kaveri Nagar, Vadivel Nagar, Minnappan Nagar, Fish Market, Kambarasampettai, Murungapettai, Gudalur, Mutharasanallur and Pazhur. Supply to Ponmalai and HAPP drinking water stations will also be suspended. Maintenance work will also be carried out at the K Sathanur substation from 9.45am to 5pm, affecting areas including K K Nagar, Indian Bank Colony, Kajamalai Colony, Sundar Nagar, Ayyappa Nagar, Mullai Nagar, Olaiyur, Mannarpuram , Wireless Road, Sempattu and Kottapattu.
