Postal voting for govt staff begins from Apr 17

Trichy: Personnel engaged in essential services in Trichy district will be able to cast their votes through postal ballots from April 17 to 19, ahead of the Tamil Nadu assembly elections scheduled on April 23.According to an official release, more than 750 applications from officials of various departments have been received from eligible voters across nine assembly constituencies in the district. Arrangements have been made for postal voting at revenue and administrative offices across the district between 9am and 5pm on the three days.
