Man killed after bus rams his two-wheeler

Trichy: A 21-year-old man was killed after a private bus rammed his two-wheeler from behind on the Thiruvanaikoil RoB in Trichy city on Saturday morning.Police identified the deceased as J Harish, 21, from Adhikudi village near Lalgudi. Harish was working as an assistant at an automobile spare parts outlet in Cantonment. On Saturday morning, he was proceeding to work on his two-wheeler. While approaching the Thiruvanaikoil RoB at about 8am, a private bus coming from the same direction hit the two-wheeler. Harish lost balance and fell from the bike. Subsequently, the bus ran over him. He was killed on the spot. Traffic North investigation wing of Trichy city police rushed to the spot and moved the victim's body to MGMGH for autopsy. A case has been registered against the bus driver, P Jayaraman, 54, from Perambalur.
