Trichy: PMK chief ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss said DMK treasurer M K Stalin has been claiming that his party's manifesto as the hero of this election. But it is actually an 'illegitimate hero' as it was copied from PMK, he quipped.
Speaking to media here on Thursday, Ramadoss said both the AIADMK and DMK are bereft of ideas and spreading lies among voters.

The PMK leader alleged that chief minister J Jayalalithaa has been hampering investigations into granite scam by filing several cases against officials who were part of the investigation team. "We have lodged several complaints with the chief election commissioner regarding rampant distribution of money to voters by political parties following the Karur incident. We have asked the EC to transfer several revenue officials in districts," he said.
Ramadoss said, "It is for the first time that we are witnessing manifestos without promises on freebies. The PMK in its manifestos never spoke about freebies. While all the parties followed suit, DMK completely copied it."
He said CBI should investigate the cash seizures in Karur where 4.5 crore was seized. Similarly, a judicial enquiry should be carried out on corruption in sand mining in river Cauvery.
